Home-Students-Council

With a view to encouraging students' participation in democratic processes in the school, a Students’ Council will be constituted in the school. The elections for membership of the Students' Council will be conducted in the beginning Of the academic session.

(A) Aims and Objectives: 

  • To liaise and bridge the communication gap for effective exchange of information between the students & school administration.
  • To communicate students' views, concerns and opinions to the school administration, for enhancing quality of life and overall improvement of various activities, academic programmes, services and facilities in the school campus.
  • To promote widespread student participation in all spheres of school activities with a view to nurturing qualities of leadership, camaraderie, team spirit & co-operative learning and sharpening skills of inter personal relationship, problem solving & organizing ability.
  • To represent the overall interests of students in the school and endeavour to promote their general welfare.
(B) Students Council:
  • The Students' Council will comprise of the following office bearers:
    1. School Captain
    2. School Vice-Captain
    3. School Prefect Sports
    4. School Prefect Activities

What is the assessment process in Mount Litera Zee Schools?

The academic year will be divided in to Units and Terms. (Units are divided into Cycles).
  • Every Unit will carry 40% weightage and will be continuous and comprehensive Example: Class tests, Projects, Assignments, Home Work.
  • Every Terminal Examination will carry 60% weightage. 24% of this term paper will be Objective and the remaining 16% will be Subjective.
  • Critical difference here is 2/3rd of the paper will carry full marks.
