Multi-Level :
Learners need to be assessed on the basis of the competencies that they have acquired and not only the content. Multi-level assessment, as against the traditional methods of assessment focuses on a comprehensive analysis of a student's skills and abilities, measuring the entire range of learning, conceptual development, skill acquisition and application. The use of a diverse set of data-collection formats yields a deeper and more meaningful understanding of what children know and are able to do and also allows a teacher to determine which instructional strategies have been effective and which need to be modified. Hence, a customized assessment pattern is used to improve classroom practice, plan curriculum, and research teaching practices
